Meh level; Meh. Give me a London Pride and call it a day.

Yes, I’m drinking beer out of a mason jar because hipster.

It has a faint taste of something different to beer, but who knows what it is. Chocolatey-ish? I don’t know.... Guinness pulls dark beers better than Fuller, it’s a good beer, just not as good as London Pride or a Guinness dark beer.

I do enjoy a London Pride from time to time, or Marstons Pedigree.

Also Spitfire and Bombardier are pretty good too.

There are a few in North America only made for hem but we get the lions share in Europe.

Some are good, some fantastic and a couple are hit’n’miss.

One thing I miss about living in SoCal is The King’s Head Pub in Santa Monica. London Pride on tap, and plenty of dartboards. I’ve spent many an hour in that place...

I like the Fullers London Porter. Top off a pint with a couple splashes of Framboise (I prefer Lindeman’s, but whatever), and it makes a wonderful after-dinner drink.

I didn’t rate it myself.

That and the Rye Pale Ale and the West Indies Porter.

The rest are fantastic and I love the Original and the Golden Ale.

I love a good Rye Ale. My personal preference is to not make ryes as pale ales, as the bitterness from the hops tends to overpower the sort of spicy tang that the rye provides. I’ve just about got my own recipe nailed down, and I’m super happy with the latest results.

The Guiness Golden Ale, I have had. It seemed like more of an Amber to me, verging on IPA territory. Not bad, but hardly my favorite. Really, my go-to for any of their products is the tried-and-true Foreign Extra Stout.

That’s odd. I find the Golden Ale very much like an IPA with the refreshment of a lager while I find the Rye Pale Ale very much like an Amber Ale which is why I don’t like it.
